Bake a devil’s food cake according to package directions. Split layers.
Icing:
1 cup sugar
1 cup milk
20 large marshmallows
16 oz finely grated coconut
Combine sugar, milk and marshmallows. Boil together slowly until marshmallows are melted. Remove from heat and add coconut. Put this mixture between all layers leaving the top one. Make your favorite chocolate icing and put on top layer and outsides of cake.
