1 cup sugar
1 & 1/2 tsp dry mustard
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup vinegar
1 & 1/2 cup oil
1/2 onion finely minced
2 tbsp poppy seed
Dissolve sugar, mustard and salt in vinegar. Gradually add oil, beating with wire whisk. Stir in onion and poppy seed. This dressing is especially good served over a salad of mixed greens, avocado and grapefruit sections.
