Carmel Corn

2 cup brown sugar

2 sticks margarine

1 tsp salt

1/2 cup white karo syrup

1/2 tsp soda

1/2 cup nuts

6 quarts popped unsalted popcorn

Combine brown sugar, margarine, syrup and salt. Boil 5 minutes; remove from heat and add soda. Mix well and pour over popcorn. Add nuts and stir well.

Place popcorn in 200 degree oven and stir every 15 minutes for one hour.
