Simple Spaghetti

Heat in skillet: 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Add and cook: 1/2 cup chopped onion and 1/2 pound ground beef

Drain fat.

Stir in and blend well:

2 (8 oz) cans tomato sauce

1 &1/2 cups water

1 & 1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp parsley

1/2 tsp dried basil

1/4 tsp pepper

Bring to boiling.

Break in half 4 oz uncooked spaghetti. Sprinkle spaghetti into the boiling sauce a little at a time, stirring to keep it separated. Cover tightly. Simmer 20 to 25 minutes, or until just tender, stirring occasionally. Makes 3-4 servings.
