In a big pot brown and drain:
1 & 1/2 pound ground beef
1 chopped onion
Add:
1 can stewed tomatoes (10 oz)
1 can veg-all
1 can hominy, or an extra can of corn if you prefer
1 can corn
1 can potatoes, cut up
1 can chili hot kidney beans
1 can green beans
1 (46 oz) bottle of V8 juice, or spicy V8 juice, or tomato juice
(Drain everything except chili beans)
Add
4 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp of hot sauce (more if you like spicy)
Salt and pepper to taste
Cook for approximately 1 hour. Makes a huge pot. This recipe is easily adaptable and a great way to get kids to eat their veggies.
