4 cloves garlic, minced
2 pounds ground chuck
2 pounds stew beef, chopped in 1/2 to 3/4″ pieces
2 pounds ground pork
2 pounds ground turkey
3 large onions, chopped
2 large green peppers, chopped
2 dried hot peppers, chopped
4 tbsp ground cumin
4 tbsp chili powder
2 large cans crushed tomatoes
2 (8oz) cans tomato sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Brown meat and set aside. Brown onion, garlic and peppers, then return the meat, add remaining ingredients and cook approximately 3 hours. 2 medium cans pinto beans can be added, if desired.
