1 pound ground beef
1 small head lettuce, torn into bite-sized pieces (3-4 cups)
1 large tomato, cut in wedges
1 small onion, thinly sliced and separated in rings
1 envelope (1 & 1/4 oz) taco seasoning mix
1/2 cup sliced black olives
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 can (15 oz) beans (garbanzo or kidney, drained)
Avocado slices
Tortilla chips, coarsely broken
Taco sauce or salsa
Prepare ground beef according to directions on seasoning mix package. In a large salad bowl layer lettuce, meat, olives, cheese, tomato, onion, beans, avocado, and broken tortilla chips. To serve, toss well and top with taco or salsa sauce.
