Meat Pie Dinner

1 pound hamburger meat

4 oz shredded mild cheddar cheese

4 oz shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1/2 cup parmesan cheese

1/2 box noodles

1 bell pepper, chopped

1-2 cloves garlic, minced

1 medium onion, chopped

4 tbsp butter

(optional: English peas, carrots, corn kernals, drained)

Make double 9″ crust pie shells.

Put one pie shell in bottom of pie dish. Brown meat, onion, pepper, garlic and other optional ingredients in a frying pan. Prepare noodles as directed on package. Drain meat and noodles. Lay a thin layer of meat mix in pie shell. Then add a layer of noodles. A layer of cheese comes next. Sprinkle parmesan over the cheddar cheeses and dot with small amount of butter. Then proceed to layer each layer again until the pie dish is full. Top with layer of the 3 cheeses and again dot with butter. Place the top pie crust over it all. Crimp or flute the edges. You can use left over crust pieces to decorate, if desired. Place in oven to cook at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until crust is brown. Pull out and serve. Cut as a regular pie.
