Yeast Rolls

2 & 1/2 tbsp shortening

2 heaping tbsp sugar

1 package yeast, dissolved in 1 cup warm water

2 cup flour

Butter

Melt shortening; add sugar. Add enough flour to thicken like gravy. Mix in dissolved yeast; add flour until dough is quite firm. Use more flour if needed, or less. Let stand about 15 minutes. Roll out and cut with rim of small glass. Fold circle over pat of butter and put on greased sheet. Preheat oven to 400 degrees and bake about 15 minutes.
