Pecan Pie

Pecan Pie

1 cup white sugar

1 cup white karo syrup

2 eggs

1 cup pecan, chopped

1/2 cup whole pecans

1 tsp vanilla

1/2 stick butter

1/4 tsp salt

1 pie crust (uncooked)

Cream butter, sugar and salt. Add well beaten eggs, syrup, vanilla, and chopped pecans. Mix well and pour into an unbaked pie shell. For a more decorative pie, the whole pecans may be arranged on top of the pie or stirred in with the pecan pieces. Bake 1 hour at 300 degrees. Let cool.
