Syd's Easy Baked Mac

Base Ingredients:

2 boxes Kraft Deluxe or Velveeta Macaroni and Cheese

2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese

1 cup sour cream

1/2 tsp red pepper

Topping:

24 Ritz crackers

4 Tbsp melted butter

Prepare the macaroni and cheese according to the box directions. Then stir in 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream and red pepper. Pour mixture into a 9×13 casserole dish, top with remaining cup of shredded cheese. Crush Ritz crackers in a bag and then pour into melted butter, stirring until all the crackers are coated. Top the dish with the cracker topping. Bake at 375 degrees for about 20 minutes or until topping is golden brown. This dish can be made the day before your event, just refrigerate the casserole overnight and bake the next day.
