1/2 cup onions, finely chopped
1 quart cornbread, crumbled
1 & 1/2 tsp accent
1/2 tsp savory
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup celery, finely chopped
1 cup white bread crumbs
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp thyme
1 cup rich chicken broth
Chicken base, to taste (instead of salt)
Sauté onions and celery in bacon drippings or margarine until soft. Mix all ingredients well. Bake at 350 degrees 30-40 minutes or until light brown.
